Choi and Hie In Final Stage of Q School

Jae Choi has advanced to the finals of the Japanese PGA Tour Qualifying School. Jae has progressed through 3 stages of 4 rounds per stage to get the opportunity to play for his Japanese PGA Tour Card. Jae has been in Japan since July working on his game and preparing for the 4 stages. The final stage is comprised of 6 round’s and will start Dec. 2, 2009.

Jae returned to the Los Angeles area for 10 days in early November to see his family and check on his swing mechanics with his instructor and coach, George Pinnell.

Rory Hie has spent most of 2009 playing on the European and Asian Tours. Rory has had to go through the European Qualifying School to retain his card. He has been in Spain competing to get to the finals which will be held at PGA Golf de Catalunya, Spain. The event will be played on the Green and Red courses.

Rory shot 69-75-70-64 (278) -10 to finish the second stage in 2nd place, 2 shots behind Satiago Luna of Spain. A great finish for Rory!
