Joy Trotter To Start LPGA Qualifying School, Stage 2

Joy Trotter, former UCI collegiate standout will be participating in the 2011 LPGA Tour Qualifying School that will begin Tuesday, September 27 – Friday, September 30. The event will be contested at the Plantation Golf and Country Club, Venice, Fl. on the Panther and Bobcat Courses. There will be 240 player’s vying for a coveted spot on the 2012 LPGA Tour.

Joy, from Chino Hill’s, CA., is competing in her first Qualifying School. Joy is coming off of a solid year, having won 3 time’s on the Cactus Tour in Arizona and finishing second, two time’s on the Canadian LPGA Tour. Jim Gilmore, former caddy for Nancy Lopez will be on the bag for Joy.

Those players that qualify in the second stage will advance to the third and final stage that will be played Wednesday, November 30- Sunday, December 4, 2011. The finals will be played at LPGA International, Daytona Beach, FL on the Champions and Legends Courses.

Joy has been working with her coach, George Pinnell since she was in 7th grade.
