Jay Choi Continue’s Run At Diamond Cup With T3rd

Jay Choi shot a final round even par 72, to finish in a tie for 3rd place, one shot off 2nd place and 4 off the winning score of -14, shot by Hiroyuki Fujita. Jay won the week before and shot an eight under par 64 in his opening round at the Diamond Cup. Coming off his victory the week before, Jay wanted to have a good tournament at the Diamond Cup. His 64-70-72-72 (278) -10, achieved that goal.

Jay third place finish was good for $78,313.00 (US Dollar’s). The third year player on the Japan Golf Tour is currently 6th on the Japan Money List with $342,904 after six events. Choi is getting off to a better start than he has in his past 2 year’s in Japan and has accomplished his main goal of winning.

This week’s event will be the Japan Golf Tour Championship Citibank that will be played at Shishido Hills Country Club (West Course) in Ibaraki, Japan.
