Breann Fox T-7th At Toyota Tour Cup

Breann Fox, a sophomore at Ontario Christian High School, shot 78-75 (153) to finish in a tie for seventh place in the Toyota Tour Cup event played at Redhawk Golf Club. Breann played consistent golf in the second round with a +2 over par 38 on her front nine and a +1 over par 37 on her back nine. the talented player from Chino, CA, shot one under par from 12 thru 18. The only blemish on her card, according to her coach was her play on the par five’s. Breann played them in +4 over par with a double on the seventh.

Isabelle Shee, a senior at Diamond Bar High School finished in a tie for 16th with rounds of 80-77 (157). Kaitleen Shee, (Isabelle’s sister) finished in 31st place with a score of 91-83 (174). The two sister’s have recently committed to begin working with George Pinnell , PGA, who will concentrate on taking the “looseness” out of their swing’s to give them more control over their ball striking.

In other play over the weekend, Katherine, (The Kat) Muzi, finished in third place with a +4 over par 72 at The Fullerton Fall Challenge at Fullerton Golf Club, Fullerton, CA. The Kat played consistent, solid golf thru the fifteenth hole. She had 3 birdie’s and 3 bogy’s. The young player stumbled on 16 and 17 with double bogey’s and then pared the 18th for her 72. The Kat was upset with her double bogey’s because she has been working hard on “finishing” a round, something her coach, George Pinnell, emphasize’s.

In the Boys 9-11 division, Leo Lu finished in a tie for second place with a +4 over par 37. In the Girls 9-11 division, Elyse Kim finished in a tie for second place with a +7 over par 40. Leeyen Peralta shot a 47 and finished in thirteenth place and Elizabeth Fung finished in sixth place in the Girls 15-18 division.

In the Fall JDL @ The First Tee of The Coachella Valley, played at The Golf Center At Palm Desert, Max Mylett finished in ninth place and Yi Yi Ouyang played in his first competitive event and finished in tenth place.

Michelle Thompson, who recently signed to play for Cal State Fullerton, finished in fourth place at the 2012 Oceanside Jr. Challenge. The JAGS Tour event was played at the Arrowood Golf Course, November 17 – 18, 2012. Michelle shot 79-76 (155).
