J Choi’s Putter Cool’s In Indonesia

Jay Choi shot a final round 70 at the Indonesian PGA Championship and finished in a tie for 39th. A three putt bogey on the opening hole, a par five, put Jay behind the eight ball. The 29 year old played the last 17 hole’s in 3 under par to finish the event with round’s of 69-68-73-70 (280). Jay had 28 putt’s in his first round, 29 in his second, 30 in the third and 32 in the final round.

Jay spent considerable time in the off season working on his driver accuracy and it paid off with an 85% of his fairway’s hit. He was 9th in driver accuracy for the week.

Jay will work his way back to Japan to prepare himself for the Token Homemate Cup that will be played April 18-21, at Token Tado Country Club Nagoya, Mie, Japan.
