Jonathan Rego Qualifies in Colorado

Jonathan Rego of San Dimas qualified for the AJGA Colorado Junior at Flying Horse. Jonathan shot 70 at King’s Deer Golf Club in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Jonathan’s 70 was good for 3rd place behind Carson Jacobs 67of Hendersonville, Tenn., and David Oraee of Greeley, Colo. 68.

Jonathan opted out of the event and will use his exemption to play in the AJGA ClubCorp Misson Hills Desert Junior to be held June 22-25, 2009.

Jonathan has undergone a major swing change with George Pinnell over the past 6 months and the changes are starting to produce the desired results. Jonathon also qualified for the California Southern California CIF finals along with another Pinnell student, Daryl Suharli, a freshman at Sunny Hills High School in Fullerton, Ca.
