Carter Finishes T5 At Cabarrus Classic

Ryan Carter shot a final round even par 72 in the final round of the Cabarrus Classic and finished in a tie for 5th place. His 9 hole scores of 34-38 (72) earned Ryan $8083.00 for his 5th place finish. Ryan had a strong front nine 34, but 3 bogies and a birdie brought him back to even for the day.

— March 19, 2010 — Ryan Carter, former standout and Academic All-American at Fresno State University has vaulted into 2nd place in the Tarheel Tour’s Cabarrus Classic in Concord, North Carolina. The Cabarrus Classic is being contested at the Cabarrus Country Club/River Run Country Club, March 17-March 20, 2010.

Ryan has shot rounds of 67-71-68 -10 (206) and is tied with Joe Daley for 2nd place after three rounds. Joe Daley has spent several years on the PGA Tour. David Robinson is in first place by a stroke at 205. Ryan has been associated with George Pinnell at the George Pinnell Golf Academy for more than 10 years.
