Novilla Win’s Second Tournament In A Row

Nina Novilla, 12 year’s old from Carson, California, won her second tournament in a row by winning the Scholl Canyon Fall Challenge. Nina shot even par with 4 birdies, 4 bogies and 10 pars. The talented young player credit’s her new putting stroke and routine taught to her by her coach George Pinnell at the George Pinnell Golf Academy. The new routine, eliminates the practice and allows Nina to focus more on her speed and getting the ball started on her intended line. Nina told George, “I had a little hard time getting used to no practice stroke, but after a few weeks of work it really felt good, and I began to make a lot more putts, and of course, my score’s were lower.” Pinnell added, “the no practice stroke also speed’s up the pace of play.”

Nina is preparing for the 2011 season and hopes to be competitive on the AJGA circuit.
