Jay Choi’s Roll’s To Best Round Of His Year At Dunlop Phoenix

Jay Choi played the best round of his rookie season in the second round of the Dunlop Phoenix 2010 Championship in Japan. Jay’s second round 64 was 10 shots better than his first round 74. Jay told his coach George Pinnell, “it was my best round of the season and I found my groove today.” Jay went on to say, “we will see what happens tomorrow, but I really played a great round today.” This coming after 2 missed cuts was a welcomed sight for the 27 year old player from Wildomere, California. Jay is currently 21st on the Japan PGA Tour (JGTO) money list and tell’s Pinnell, “I have learned a lot about life on tour and how to manage myself and my game when playing every week for extended period’s of time.”

The Dunlop Phoenix is a major event in Japan and players in this year’s tournament include, Tom Watson, Robert Karlsson, Ryder Cup Player, Edoardo Molinari, Shigeki Maruyama, Robert Allenby, Ryo Ishikawa and Shingo Katayama.
