Jay Choi Return’s To Japan To Prepare For 2011 Season

Jay Choi departed today for Japan to prepare for the 2011 Japan PGA Tour (JGTO). Jay’s season will open with the Indonesia PGA Championship being played March 24-27, in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Indonesia PGA Championship is an event on the OneAsia Golf Tour. The event’s purse will be $1,000,000 US Dollars.

Jay spent the off season at his home in Wildomar, California, practicing at Bear Creek CC, working with his coach, George Pinnell and traveling to visit friends in New Mexico and Las Vegas. Jay is excited about the 2011 season after finishing 17th on the 2010 Money List. He has signed a contract to play Yamaha golf clubs and has been impressed with the look and performance of the clubs. Yamaha built a set of irons from the information Jay gave them on what he likes to see and feel in his clubs.
