Jay Choi Even At The Crowns 2012

Jay Choi got off to a great start at the 2012 Crowns by making birdies on the first two holes. He cooled off with bogey’s on three and four to go back to even par. The third year player on the Japan Golf Tour then reeled of 14 straight pars to finish in a tie for 17th place at the completion of the first round.

The Crowns is being played at the Nagoya Golf Club on the Wago Course in Aichi, Japan. Jay finished in 28th place in the 2011 Crowns and is wanting to get off to a faster start in 2012 then he has in the past two years. The talented young player hit 12 greens, had 30 putts and 6 one putts and made 4 of 6 up and downs in his par round of 70.
