Leo Lu Win’s Green River Summer Championship

Leo Lu, Chino Hills, CA, won the Boys 9-11 Green River Summer Championship with a 5 over par 41 to win by a shot over David Huang, Irvine, CA. Leo, (9) had 5 par’s, 3 bogy’s and a double. Leo placed 12 in the US Kid’s World Championship at Pinehurst when he was 7 year’s old. Leo will leave on the July 30, for the 2012 US Kid’s World Championship where he will compete as a 9 year old.

Matt Huo, finished in 5th place with a +11, 47.

Garrett Hutchinson, Chino Hills, CA, shot 83 (+11) to finish in a tie for sixth as Justin Phi won the Boys 14-15 with a +1, 73. In the Girls 9-11, Leeyen Peralta shot 51 to finish sixth. Elise Sumner, North Tustin, CA, won with a +5, 41.

Leo, Matt, Garrett and Leeyen are student’s at the George Pinnell Golf Academy.
