Joy Trotter and Lalita Patipaksiri In Florida Preparing For LPGA Q School

Joy Trotter and Lalita Patipaksiri are in Venice, FL, preparing for the second stage of the LPGA Qualifying School that will be contested next week at the Plantation Golf and Country Club. The second stage will be four round’s of golf played on the Bobcat and Panther course’s at The Plantation.

Lalita, a 2012 graduate of the University of California, Irvine, passed the first stage that was contested last month at LPGA International in Daytona Beach, FL. Lalita was a standout and leader of the UCI Women’s Golf Team and led the nation in par 3 scoring in 2010. She also had an illustrious junior career being named Orange County Player of the Year, two time’s.

Joy Trotter played two year’s at UCI before leaving to turn professional in 2011. Joy has won 7 time’s on the Arizona Cactus Tour and was the winner of the Women’s Colorado Open. Joy has played the Symetra Tour in 2012 and was exempt from the first stage of the Qualifying School.

Stage II will be played October 9 – 12, 2012. The top 70 and tie’s will advance to Stage III that will be played November 28 – December 2, 2012.

Joy and Lalita are both coached by George Pinnell. Lalita and Joy have worked with Coach Pinnell for approximately 11 year’s.
