Joy Trotter Play’s Well at Eagle Classic on Symetra Tour

Joy Trotter, played her best golf of the year on the developmental tour for the LPGA as she shot 69-70 to be in a tie for 3rd place going into the final round. The talented former UCI standout played well in the first two round’s with only 3 bogey’s on her card to go with 8 birdies. Joy made par’s on the first 4 hole’s of the final round when play was halted due to weather condition’s at the Richmond Country Club, Richmond, Virginia. When play resumed, Joy had trouble getting the correct speed on the rain soaked green’s causing her to make 4 bogey’s in her final round to finish with a 76 to go along with the 69-70. The final round pushed her to a tie for 14th and ended her chance for her first victory on the Symetra Tour.

Christine Song, won her second event of the year with a score of 67-70-71 (208).
