Mylan Hirata Qualify’s For The Junior Tour

Mylan Hirata, 12, from La Habra Heights, CA, qualified for the Southern California Junior Tour by passing her third and final hurdle of scoring +9 or better in three JDL event’s. Mylan shot 39 at the JDL Fall Series @ Rancho Duarte to finish the requirement to and graduate to the SCPGA Junior Tour. Ryan Toh shot 49 in the Boys 11 & under division.

Garrett Hutchinson, finished in third place at the David L. Baker Fall Shootout in the Boys 16-18. Garrett shot 64 (+2) to finish 3 shot’s behind the winner J. Phi who fired a -1, 61. Garrett’s brother, Kyle finished in a tie for 5th place with a +4, 66 in the Boys 14-15 division while Sherilyn Villanueva shot a +3, 34 in the Girls 9-11 division and Sneha Yadav finished in 9th place with a 39.

In action at the Upland Hills Fall Challenge, Roman “Romo” Aragon, finished in 7th place with an 81 (+11). Although Romo was not happy with his performance at Upland, he pointed out to his coach, George Pinnell, with his usual sense of humor, that he had finished first in scoring average on the par three’s. Kyle Hutchinson struggled with an 86 while Garrett H. finished in a tie for 4th with a 77. Sherilyn Villanueva shot 41 and tied for 4th place.

After a successful summer season, Kaitleen Shee struggled at the Toyota Tour Cup Showcase @ Sycuan Resort with a 16th place finish at 163 (82-81).
