The Kat 10th at Pumpkin Ridge (AJGA)

Katherine Muzi shot 77-71-73 (221) to finish in 10th place in the Junior All-Star Invitational at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club, North Plains, Oregon. Kat was able to generate a total of 9 birdie’s over the 54 hole event, but it was the 13 bogey’s and the two double bogey’s that left her in 10th place.

Katherine has had an outstanding summer playing on the AJGA Tour. Although she did not pick up a victory, she had 4, second place finish’s and is currently ranked 48th in the United States. It is ironic that had Kat shot 2 stroke’s better at Pumpkin Ridge, she would have made Polo All-American Honorable Mention. The talented sophomore from Walnut, CA, will feed off of this summer’s play to come back next year and for an even better year.
