Park 2nd, Yu Tie’s for 11th at World Series Event- FCG Las Vegas Championship

Irene Park, led after the first round with a -2, 69. Irene faltered in the second round with an 86 to finish in 2nd place in the Girls 11-12 Division. Irene has not played in a competitive event since last year so this event was a test on her competitive readiness. She did a great job in the first round and will work hard to regain the form that helped her shoot 69 in the first round.

Catherine Yu, a junior at Walnut High School, shot 76-75 (151) to finish in a tie for 11th place in the Future Champions Golf Tour event at Primm Valley. IMG_1005

Lugito, was in 5th place after the first round with a solid 73. Keisha ran into trouble on the second day with an 83 and a 156 total to finish in a tie for 21st. Catherine and Keisha played in the Girls 15-18 Division.
