Bryant Hernandez wins at Upland Hills while Bella Yang places 4th at Royal Vista SCPGA Event

Bryant Hernandez, 11, won the Spring Upland Hills Boys 9-11 Division with a +1 over par 36. Bryant is trending up in his ball striking and performance on the golf course. Bryant, made 4 opening pars before he birdied the 5th hole. He made a birdie 3 on the 5th ole before going par, bogey, bogey, par in the 9 hole event.

Bella Yang, 12, finished in 4th place at the SCPGA Royal Vista Junior Tournament. Bella, shot 87 in the Girls 12-14 age. She has been working hard on learning how to “make a score” in the game of golf and to limit the mistakes that results in bogies or worse.

Michelle Chang, missed qualifying for the Morongo TTC Qualifier at Ranch San Joaquin GC, by posting an 83 and missing the cut by 4 shots.

At the Harding Spring Classic, Garrick Chiu, struggled with a 93 to finish in a tie at 24th.

In JDT action, at Gardens, Jackie Li shot a 47 in the JDT Girls 11 & Under. In JDT action at Newport Beach GC, Tyler Shin, shot a 39 in the 9 hole event to place in a tie for 13th, while, Aidan Han, shot a 40 and finished a shot behind Tyler, in 19th place.

Angela Wu, finished in 4th place at the Toyota Tour Championship RedHawk Qualifier. Angela, shot a 77, that consisted of 4 bogies in a row on holes 6-9. Angela made 14 pars on the remaining holes.
