Angelina Ye, Bradenton, Fla., won the ANNIKA INVITATIONAL USA presented by Rolex. The ANNIKA was played at the World Golf Village, St. Augustine, Florida. Angelina, shot 73-70-71 (214) to beat Lucy Li, by 2 shot’s. Li, shot, 74-74-72 (216), to finish second. Rose Zhang, Irvine, California, finished in a tie for 15th place. The freshman from Pacific Academy in Irvine, California, shot 73-75-76 (224). Rose was even par on the final round going into hole 15. Rose ran into a road block on 15 where she made an 8 (+5) on the par 3, 135 yard hole. She then birdied the 16th hole to get back to +4, on the day and finish the round with a 76.

Katherine Muzi, won the Callaway Golf Junior Championship at Vista Valley Country Club, Vista, California. Katherine, shot 70-72-73 (215) to win her first AJGA event. Katherine has signed to play her college golf at The University of Southern California (USC). She will enroll at USC this fall. Crystal Wang, a senior at Diamond Bar HS, finished in a tie for 9th with round’s of 77-72-79 (228). Crystal, will enroll at the University of Illinois, this fall, where she will play on a golf scholarship. Charissa Shang, Calabasas, California, finished in a tie for 15th with score’s of 80-75-76 (231). Charissa is an 8th grader and is showing a steady growth pattern in her development as a solid junior player.
