Bridget Chantharath Win’s at Diamond Bar!

Bridget Chantharath, playing in the Girls 9-11 Division, shot a 44 (+8) to win by 2 shot’s over Lisa Herman, who shot a 46. Bridget played well by making 4 par’s in her win in the Diamond Bar Spring Championship. Alesia Barry, shot a 53 and finished in 8th place.

In the Girls 12-14 Division, Bella Yang, shot an 80 and finished in a tie for 4th place. Bella, according to her coach, George Pinnell, is stuck on score’s ranging from 78-80, but should progress into lowering her average as the season’s progresses. “Bella, has a lot of potential,” Pinnell, said, “but she need’s to work harder and smarter, to realize that potential.”

Franklin Zhu, shot a 47 and finished in a tie for 7th place in the Boys 9-11 Division. Winston Thai, shot a 56 and finished in 12th place.

In the 2-Day Spring Championship at Menifee Lakes CC, Kendra Lee, finished in 6th place with round’s of 75-77 (152). The young player from Pacific Academy in Irvine, CA., has been making progress with her golf. Her coach, George Pinnell, laughing, said, “I want your golf to match your 4.8 GPA at PA.” Gabby Kano, shot 81-79 (160) to place 15th. Gabby, is working hard to get back into her form after being off for a year with a back injury.
