Joy Trotter Leads UC Irvine

Joy Trotter doubled bogeyed the 18th hole but still posted an outstanding -3 (69) to put the UCI Anteaters into first place at the Price’s “Give ’em Five” Intercollegiate at the New Mexico State Golf Course in Las Cruces, N.M. Joy shares the individual lead with her 69. UCI the defending champion’s, shot a team score of 294 and hold a two shot advantage over Idaho, Fresno State is third (298) followed by San Diego State in fourth (300) and Oregon State and Baylor are tied for fifth at (303).

Hillary Packard shot 73 and is in seventh place. Lalita Patipaksiri and Henna Cho are tied for 26th with 76s. Patipaksiri and Cho are both students at the George Pinnell Golf Academy.

The tournament continues with 18 holes on Tuesday and 18 holes on Wednesday.
