Jae Choi Contend’s In Japan

Jae Choi, used his experience and good course management skills at the Nagoya Golf Club Wago Course at the Crowns 2010 tournament. Jae’s -4 (66) is good for a tie for 2nd place one shot off the first round leader Kunihiro Kamii’s -5 (65). Jae told his coach, George Pinnell, ” that the course demanded conservative play and that his patience paid off with birdies at 8,9, 12 and 16 combined with 14 par’s.” Jae continued to say “that he would do his best to keep his rhythm and patience in the second round.” Shigeki Maruyama is tied with Jae at -4 and Ryo Ishikawa is at -2.

Jae is a former Rolex Junior All-American and NCAA All-American at the University of New Mexico. The talented Choi is currently 13th on the money list on the Japan Golf Tour.
