Leo Lu Tie’s For 12th At U.S. Kids World

Leo Lu, 7 year’s old from Diamond Bar, California, finished the U.S. Kid’s World Tournament in a tie for 12th place in the 7 year old division. The event is played annually at Pinehurst, NC. Leo shot 41-38-38 (117). Juan Camilo Vesga Solano, Colombia won the 7 year old division with a total 3 round score of 104.

Leo called his coach George Pinnell and said he was not happy with his putting because he had 5, 3 putt’s in his first round. However, Leo placed 4th in a putting tournament following the 3 day event and told Pinnell, “I guess I putt better when I am not playing on the course.”
