Joy Trotter’s 69 Lead’s First Round Of CN Canadian Women’s Tour @ Squamish Valley Golf Club

Joy Trotter, a 20 year old professional from Chino Hill’s, CA., shot a -3 (69) to lead the CN Women’s Tour Event in British Columbia, Canada. Joy started her day in the last tee time of 10:06 a.m. on ten tee and birdied the 10th hole, bogied the 11th and then birdied 14 and 16, adding par’s on the remainder of her front side. Joy finisher her front side with a -2 (34). Joy made the turn and birdied 6 with par’s on the remaining 8 hole’s to score a -1 (35).

Joy’s 69, give’s her a one stroke lead over Renee Skidmore’s and Ryann O’toole’s 70. The CN Canadian Tour event has a $60,000 U.S. purse and the winner gain’s an exemption into the Canadian Open in August.

Joy played her collegiate golf at UC Irvine and has been instructed by George Pinnell since she was a 7th grader in middle school.
