Jason Semthiti Birdie’s 6 Of His Last 10 Hole’s To Qualify For LA Men’s City Championship

Jason Semthiti who just graduated from high school shot a blistering 31 at Rancho Park in Los Angeles to qualify for the Men’s City Championship. Jason’s 68 placed him in a tie for second place. The talented young player is enrolled at UC Riverside for the fall and will play on the Highlander’s golf team. Jason told his coach, George Pinnell, “I got off to a rocky start with a bogey’s on 3, 6 and 8. I got hot with a birdie on 9 and that started a run where I had 6 birdie’s in my last 10 hole’s. I really got on a run. My dad caddied for me and he just encouraged me to stay calm and play my game. It was a fun day”.

Jason shot 2 over on the front side and 5 under on the back for a total 68 on the par 71 famed Rancho Park. Jason has worked with his instructor and coach, George Pinnell for nearly 8 year’s and feel’s he has made great improvement’s that has provided him an opportunity to play NCAA golf at the Division 1 level.

The Men’s LA City Championship will be contested June 9-12th at Rancho Park in Los Angeles.
