Rory Hie Tie’s for second in the Indonesia Open

Rory Hie, the talented former top amateur in the United State’s and USC All-American is working hard to qualify for the 2012 European Tour. This week Rory tied for second in the Indonesia Open with score’s of 68-70-68-70 (276) -12. Rory finished only one shot behind the winning score of -13. Rory collected $72,500.00 for his second place effort and put him 14th on the OneAsia Order of Merit.

Rory has found his groove and has shown steady improvement after having difficulties early in his pro career. It look’s like his hard work and perseverance has paid off. Rory is also the ambassador for Mercedes Benz in Indonesia.
