Jay Choi 3rd Place At Sun Chlorella Classic, Japan PGA Tour

[singlepic id=162 w=320 h=240 float=left]Jay Choi the 26 year tour player from Wildomar, CA., shot a final round 70 to finish in second place at the Sun Chlorella Classic played at Otaru Country Club, Hokkaido, Japan. Jay collected $131,528 US Dollar’s for the 3rd place finish. His finish in the Sun Chlorella Classic move’s him into 20th on the Japan Money List with a total of $238, 448.00.

Jay’s 70 in the final round consisted of a bogie and a birdie on the front nine for an even par 36. Jay has been working hard to “finish” his round’s and he did so with 2 birdie’s and a mistake free back 9 to give him 69-69-70-70 (278) -10.

The Southern Californian who play’s out of Bear Creek Country Club, has worked hard on his game with his long time coach George Pinnell. Pinnell has a golf academy in the Los Angeles, San Gabriel Valley. Jay see’s Pinnell to make sure that his swing is where it should be and that he has not made in dramatic change’s while playing in Japan. Pinnell said,” that at this point in Jay’s career, his swing is pretty well defined and all that is needed is maintenance to keep him on plane and the face where Jay want’s it.” Jay use’s Pinnell’s TrackMan Launch monitor to make sure his plane and face are correct.
