GPGA Player’s Do Well At Royal Vista Spring Challenge

Player’s from the George Pinnell Golf Academy in Rowland Heights, CA, performed well at the Royal Vista Spring Challenge played on the East/North Course of the Los Angeles Royal Vista Golf Course.

Kat Muzi, Walnut, CA, finished in 2nd place in the Girls 9-11 age group with a 7 over par 43. Kailie Vonqsaqa, Los Angeles, CA was first with a 4 over 40. Leeyen Peralta, Fullerton, CA, finished in a tie with Trussy Li, San Marino, CA, with score’s of 15 over par (51).

Brittney Sok, Placentia, CA, finished 3rd, in the Girls 12-14 age group. Brittney shot 8 over par 79 in the 18 hole event. Irene Maemura and Jiyoon Jang tied for first place at 3 over par. Felicia Chang, La Habra Heights, CA, shot 93 to finish in a tie for 13 place.

In the Boys 9-11 age group, Ricky Cen, Monterey Park, CA shot an 8 over par 44 to finish the nine hole event in a tie for 4th place. Matthew Huo, Corona, CA, shot 10 over par in his first SCPGA Junior Tour Event to finish alone in 8th place.

George Pinnell who coaches the player’s said that he is super proud of all of the young player’s and is thankful for the opportunity to be able to work with the talented group. Pinnell feels that all of his young player’s are “special”.
