A first round 70 (-1) put third year Japan Golf Tour player, Jay Choi into a tie for 15th place at the Fujisankei Classic being played this week at Fujizakura Country Club, Yamanashi, Japan. Jay used 17 putts, including a 3 putt par on the par 5, third hole, to shoot and even par 35 on his front 9. The only blemish on his round was a bogey on the par 4, 10th. Birdies on 15 and 18 moved Jay within a shot of 10th place and 5 shots off the lead with three rounds left to play.
