Joy Trotter Play’s Well in Decatur

Joy Trotter finished in a tie for 35th place in the Decatur-Forsyth Classic (Symetra Tour Road to the LPGA). Joy, a former UCI standout, shot 72-71-72 (215) and had a good week of ball striking. In Joy’s first round, she hit 10 of 14 fairway’s and 15 of 18 green’s in regulation. In the second round, the talented player from Chino Hills, CA, hit 11 of 14 fairway’s and 17 of 18 green’s. Round 3 was not as kind to her as she hit 11 of 14 fairway’s and 13 of 18 green’s.

A bogey on the par FIVE 6th hole and triple on the par four, 12th were the only blemish’s in a solid performance.

The Symetra Tour move’s to South Bend, Indiana this week where Joy will compete in the Four Winds Invitational.
