Felicia Chang Qualify’s For TTC Olivas Links

Felicia “Fish” Chang, shot a 76 (+5) to qualify for the Toyota Tour Championship at Olivas Links. The qualifier was played at Royal Vista GC, Rowland Heights, CA. Felica is a fourteen year old sophomore who started to play golf two year’s ago. According to her coach, George Pinnell, “the up and coming player has a solid swing and ball striking capabilities but is learning how to “play” the game and utilize an improved short game to get the ball into the hole.” Pinnell went on to say that, “Felicia need’s to transfer her range game to the golf course.” Her 76 was a result of 13 par’s and 5 bogey’s with no birdies.

Alexa Melton, shot 79 and finished in 10th place.

In the boys qualifier, Roman “Romo” Aragon shot 82. Yugo Koshiishi shot 92 and Felicia’s brother shot 93.
