Michelle Xu Wins at Whittier Narrows

Michelle Xu, a freshman at Walnut High School, won the Whittier Narrows Players Tour Challenge at Whittier Narrows GC, Rosemead, CA. Michelle shot a +4, 78 to win by 3 shots over E. Kang’s 81. Michelle had 2 birdies, 4 bogies and a double bogey to round out her 39-39 (78).

In the Girls 12-14 Division, Mylan “Frenchy” Hirata, finished in 5th place with an 88. Umbert Caseres shot 54 in the Boys 9-11 Division.

At the Fullerton Players Tour Challenge, Yugo Koshiishi, placed tied for 4th with a +5, 72, in the Boys 16-18 Division. Patrick Ordonez, finished in 13th place, with an 89 in the Boys 12-13 Division.

Sherilyn Villanueva finished in a tie for 5th place with a 78 as Leyenn Peralta placed 7th with an 80 in the Girls 12-14 Division.

At the San Dimas Players Tour Challenge, at San Dimas, CA, Leeyene Peralta placed 2nd with a +4, 76, as her friend, Sherilyn Villanueva finished in 3rd with an 81 in the Girls 12-14 Division.

Kat Muzi finished in a tie for 8th in the Toyota Tour Cup @ River Course at Alisal. Katherine shot 76-79 (155). Although she was not happy with her performance over the weekend, she was content with a top ten finish on the TOC Tour. Andrea Han finished tied for 15th with 81-78 (159). Andrea was happy with her improved score in the final round.

Ryan Ko, shot 44 and placed tied for 3rd, in the Garb JDL Fall @ Alhambra.
