Mylan Hirata 3rd at El Prado Spring Event

Mylan (Frenchy) Hirata, continued her improvement in a 3rd place finish at the El Prado Spring Event. Mylan, a thirteen year old, shot 81 with a +3 over par on the front nine. Mylan compete’s in the Girls 12-13 Division. Leeyen Peralta finished in a tie for 4th place with Sherilyn Villanueva. Leeyen and Sherilyn shot 82.

Andrea Han shot 77 and finished in a tie for 5th place in the Girls 14-18 Division. Michelle Xu finished in a tie for 10th place with an 80.uo Korina Guo finished in a tie for 18th place with an 87. Korina just started working with George Pinnell and is the process of rebuilding her swing.

Sam Cho played in the Boys 12-14 Division and shot 94 to finish in a tie for 33rd. Sam has just started working with George Pinnell. Yugo Koshiishi shot 82 and finished in a tie for 27th place in the Boys15-18 Division.

At the Westlake Spring event at Westlake GC, Sherilyn Villanueva lit it up with a -3 under par 64 to win the Girls 12-13 Division by 5 shots. Leeyen Peralta finished fifth with 71.

In JDL action at Heartwell Golf Course, Nicole Zhang finished in a 5th place in her 2nd golf tournament of her brief career. Nicole shot a +9, 36 that will count toward her requirement to score +9 or better in three events within a calendar year, to move up to the SCPGA Junior Tour. Congratulations, Nicole!

Ryan Toh, shot 40 and finished in a tie for 19th in the JDL event.

Players are making progress in improving their golf game and should all be congratulated for their efforts and commitment to their game.
