Jomar Veloso 5th at Upland Hills

Jomar Veloso shot 84 and finished in a tie for 5th place in the SCPGA Spring event held at Upland Hills Country Club.  Jomar compete’s in the Boys 12-14 Division.  This is special, because Jomar is special.  You see, Jomar is autistic.  Jomar’s love of golf and his practice habits has him improving on a regular basis.  His mother, Joy, is his biggest fan and is super supportive of Jomar.  Jomar is not only learning about golf, he is learning the finer points of etiquette and how to conduct himself while in a competitive round of golf.  It is a privilege to be Jomar’s instructor and I look forward to his continued progress.

Yugo Koshiishi shot 78 in the Diamond Bar Spring event and finished in a tie for 14th in the Boys 15-18 Division  Yugo is a special young man like Jomar.  Yugo is deaf, love’s golf and work’s hard with his high school academics.
