Crystal Wang Misses Kia Classic by a Shot

IMG_0633Crystal Wang, a sophomore at Diamond Bar High School, shot a solid 75 at Aviara Golf Club in Carlsbad, CA., to miss qualifying for the LPGA Kia Classic, by a shot. Mieko Suzuki and April Ranches shot 74 to fill the 2 Monday qualifier spot’s.

The field included 21 player’s, several if them have already signed to play college golf next fall. Crystal was an important player on the 2014 Diamond Bar HS California State Championship team and is looking forward to having a good season this summer playing AJGA and USGA events.

Her coach, George Pinnell, has received a number of communication’s from universities interested in recruiting her to play for them in 2018.
