Rose Zhang and Alexa Pano to Represent the United State’s in France

Rose Zhang, 14, will leave this week for Evian-les-Bains, France, where she and Alexa Pano, Lake Worth, Florida, will compete for the United State’s, in the Evian Junior World Championship. The event will pit team’s from 15 countries against each other, after the LPGA Evian Championship.

Rose, had an outstanding season in 2017. She won the 2017 PGA Junior Championship with a record tying performance of 69-65-66-68 (268) to tie Kristen Gillman’s 2014 performance. The PGA Championship was contested at Country Club of St. Albans, Lewis and Clark Course, St. Albans, Missouri.

Rose was selected to play in the Wyndham Cup, and the Junior Solheim Cup.

Rose’s her victory at the PGA, her season has produced a tie for 3rd at the KPMG Staey Lewis Junior All-Star Invitational, a tie for 5th at the ANNIKA Invitational and the Polo Golf Junior Classic.

Rose the number 1, ranked 14 year old in the country. She is ranked 4th by Junior Golf Scoreboard and 7th by Rolex AJGA Rankings.

Rose will be accompanied by her father, Henry.
