United States Captures Evian Championship Juniors Cup

Rose Zhang , Alexa Pano, Jackson Van Paris and Eli Tran rout 16 countries by 13 stroke’s

Team USA, shot a winning score of -5, to win the Evian Championship Juniors Cup in Evian-Les-Bains, France, by 13 shot’s over second place, Japan. Team Japan, player’s, An Ichimura, Kyo Morishita, Seri Yuasa and Hikaru Yuhara, posted a +8, to finish in second place. France 2, placed third with Paul Beauvy, Adela Cernousek, Arthur Genest and Zoe Allaux, as they posted +19.

Jackson Van Paris, led Team USA with round’s of 69-71 (140). Rose Zhang, led the Girl’s after the first round with a solid 71 (-1), but fell back in the second round with a 76, for a two round score of (147). Alexa Pano played well as she posted a pair of 72‘s and finished at (144). Eli Tran, shot 77-72 (149) to round out Team USA’s scoring. (Each day the scoring was comprised of the combined best 3 score’s from the 4 players).

Jackson Van Paris, -4, was medalist among the Boy’s and tied for 1st with France’s, Lucie Malchirand, -4, among Girl’s & Boy’s combined. Alexa Pano, was 3rd and Rose Zhang, 4th among the Girl’s. Rose was 7th among Girl’s & Boy’s.
