Crystal Wang, 1st Team Honor’s to the Big Ten Conference

Congratulations to Crystal Wang, a freshman at the University of Illinois, on being named to 1st Team Honor’s to the Big Ten Conference! Super proud of CW and her work effort throughout her junior golf career leading into her college career. Wang collected her first All-Big Ten honor. Both at the Illini Women’s Invitational in Medinah, the Diamond Bar, Calif. native holds the second-best 54-hole tournament total in program history with 208 (-8) and the fifth lowest single round score with 67 (-5). Last weekend, Wang matched the fifth best 36-hole tournament score with an even-par 144 at the Big Ten Championships. In her second tournament donning the Orange and Blue, Wang had a career-best finish at the Coeur D’Alene Resort Collegiate (Sept. 24-25), tying for second overall with 212 (-1). The freshman currently leads the team with the best stroke average this season with 72.39.
