Meet 2022 USA Curtis Cup Team

-No. 1 in the Women’s World Amateur Golf Ranking

-Posted a 4-0-1 record in the 2021 Curtis Cup to help the USA in its 12.5-7.5 win at Conwy Golf Club in Wales

-Won the 2020 and 2021 McCormack Medal for being the leading amteur in the WAGR

-In July 2021, became the eighth player to have captured both the U.S. Girls’ Junior and U.S. Women’s Amateur, but the first to win the Women’s Amateur first

-Defeated defending champion Gabriela Ruffels in 38 holes to win the 2020 U.S. Women’s Amateur at Woodmont Country Club in Rockville, Md.

-Defeated Bailey Davis, 6 and 4, to win the 2021 U.S. Girls’ Junior at Columbia Country Club in Chevy Chase, Md.

-Has won 15 of her last 17 matches in USGA match-play competitions, losing in the quarterfinals of the 2019 U.S. Girls’ Junior to future U.S. Women’s Open champion Yuka Saso and in the Round of 64 of the 2021 U.S. Women’s Amateur to Elle Nachmann, of Boca Raton, Fla.

-Became the sixth player to have won the U.S. Women’s Amateur and NCAA individual title, and the first since 2014 USA Curtis Cupper Emma Talley. Captured the NCAA title by three strokes in late May at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz.

-Went 2-1 in match play to help Stanford win the NCAA title

-Named recipient of the 2022 Annika Award, given to the best player in women’s college golf; Stanford and Curtis Cup teammate Rachel Heck won the award a year ago

-Missed the cut in the 2020 and 2021 U.S. Women’s Opens after finishing T-55 in 2019 at the Country Club of Charleston

-Tied for 11th and garnered low-amateur honors in the 2020 ANA Inspiration; also made the cut in the 2021 Amundi Evian Championship

-Missed the cut by one stroke in the 2021 AIG Women’s Open at Carnoustie

-Has enjoyed a decorated junior golf career that includes representing the USA in the Junior Solheim Cup and Junior Ryder Cup; also is a two-time American Junior Golf Association Girls Player of the Year (2019 and 2020)

-Won the 2020 Rolex Girls Junior Championship, the PING Invitational and Rolex Tournament of Champions, all major invitationals on the American Junior Golf Association circuit.

-Tied for third in the 2021 Augusta National Women’s Amateur with Rachel Heck, her 2021 and 2022 Curtis Cup teammate

-Won a gold medal with Curtis Cup teammate Emilia Migliaccio in the mixed-gender team competition of the 2019 Pan American Games

-Just completing freshman season at Stanford University
