Zhang extends lead with Pac-12 win

RoseZhang now has a 308-point lead over Sweden’s Ingrid Lindblad at the top of the World Amateur Golf Ranking® thanks to victory in the Pac-12 Women’s Championship.

The Stanford student earned her sixth win of the season, and 10th in college golf, when she played Papago Golf Club in Arizona in rounds of 67, 68 and 69 for a 12-under 204 total. She set two scoring records, her 204 breaking the 54-hole record by one shot, and her eight-shot victory becoming the largest winning margin by a shot.

Zhang recently broke the record for most weeks as world number one, surpassing Leona Maguire’s count of 135. The American is now in her 137th week atop the WAGR table.
